Obituary
Jac Scarlett passed away peacefully on May 26, 2020, at the age of 73, from complications due to Parkinson’s Disease.
He leaves to mourn his wife Margaret; daughters Sheila/ Craig and Dawna/ Thor; grandsons Kristopher/ Elle, Andrew, and great-grandchildren Jayden and Ruby. He also survived by his sister Elizabeth (Beth), brother-in-law Ralph, and nephew Clay/ Chelsie, nieces Sara/ Mike, Sonja/ Michael and their children. He was predeceased by his father Stanley and mother Ellen (Molly).
Jac was born at High River and lived all his life on the family’s ranch west of Nanton before entering into Bethany Riverview. Jac attended school at Braehead and Nanton. Jac worked at Chain Lakes Provincial Park for a number of years after semi-retiring from the ranch, and six of those as Park Manager. He loved the outdoors, the ranch life, talking and meeting new and returning campers at the park.
We would like to thank the Bethany Riverview for his excellent care over the past years.
A Memorial service will take place at a later date.
