Isabelle Carol Anne Patton
December 20, 1963 – June 16, 2020
Passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital with husband Mark and big sister Fiona at her side on Tuesday June 16, 2020.
The daughter of well travelled and eccentric parents, Isabelle was born in Calgary. In her youth she experienced art in its many forms from “mommy and daddy”. They lived in Chicago and Detroit before landing in Toronto where Isabelle worked and enjoyed a retail clothing/fashion life as an adult.
She moved to Prince Edward County in 2004 to join her mom and sister, who already resided here. The fashion followed. Isabelle not only stood out from a personality perspective, but from what she wore. Her look was her own. In the County she served the public at the beautiful bookstore – as reading was another love of hers – and at women’s fashion stores. She became a fixture in the community from her warm and inviting spirit and presence at local events. She loved the County and the County loved her back.
Her interests were far and wide ranging – travel, art, music, theatre. She was a wife, a step-mom, the cutest little sister and a great and true friend to many. She excelled at most of what she put her wonderful mind to and took great pleasure in what life had to offer. She radiated a light that will never be diminished.
Love to you Isabelle. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
