Obituary of Irene Lacasse
LACASSE, Irene – Peacefully at home, with her daughters by her side, Irene Lacasse died on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Paul-Andre Lacasse. Loving mother of Marie-Paule Wilkinson, Bright’s Grove, late Gerry Lacasse & his wife Darlene, B.C., Marcel Lacasse & his wife Catalina, Mexico, Diane Lacasse & her husband Ron Parker, Chesterville, ON, and Denise McBain & her husband Bill Wintermute, Edmonton. Dear sister of Marie Ethier, Timmins. Cherished grandmother of 10 and proud great grandmother of 10. Also survived by her special nephew Gerard Laliberte & his wife Rose-Marie and her niece Jeannine Rivard & her husband Sylvain, Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents Marie Anne and Urbain Lachapelle, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Irene will be missed by her neighbours at Pineview. She loved to spend time playing cards with them. Irene was a long standing member of St. Benedict’s Church and an over 25 year member of the Catholic Women’s League. Private graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to The McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
