Irene’s Obituary
It is with both deep sadness and the peace of Heaven that we announce the passing of Irene Florence Short (nee Pinksen). Surrounded by her family, she went to her Heavenly home at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 25, 2020 at the age of 65 in the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton Alberta.
Beloved wife to Bronson for 46 years and cherished mother to Sherri Lynn Cassell (Dennis), Debra-Lee Pollard (Kristin) and Matthew Short (Natasha). Treasured Nana to Ethan, Sydney, Macy, Gavin, Ashton, and Drake.
She loved the Lord. He healed her at a young age and she has faithfully served Him her whole life. Through her three year cancer journey she thanked God daily for His constant goodness and strength.
