Inez M. Gaudet
Inez Mae (MacAleese) Gaudet 90, formerly of Bromley Ave,
passed away peacefully at The Briarlea on November 3, 2020. Born in
Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Bertha
(MacLeod) MacAleese.
Inez was a member of the Saint Augustine’s Roman
Catholic Church. She worked for years at Lounsbury’s in the
accounts department and retired from the Department of Superannuation
Services in Shediac. In retirement Inez had many adventures with her
husband, Ronnie and later with her children. Winters were spent
travelling to Germany to visit their sons in their hockey careers.
Summers were spent at the cottage in Shediac and golfing with Ronnie
at Pine Needles Golf and Country Club.
Mom was a great supporter of her children and grandchildren,
attending their many different sports as a cheerleader and even
accompanying them on tournaments. She will be sadly missed by her
children: Karen (James) Rinzler, Paula (Jeff Burns) Gaudet, Kevin
(Robin Niderost) and Ron Jr. all of Moncton, grandchildren Andrew
(Sonia) and Jason Rinzler, Megan (Ryan Kazakow), Matthew, Michelle and
Ryan Burns, great-grandchildren, Leela, Alex and Quinn.
Besides her parents Inez was predeceased by her husband of 54
years, Ronald Gaudet, her sister Roberta O’Brien (Lloyd) and
her brother Danny MacAleese.
The family would like to thank the staff at The Briarlea for
the wonderful care and love they provided to Inez.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral will take
place at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995). Sharing of memories or condolences can be made online at
