Obituary of Ina Melita Laybolt
Laybolt, Ina Melita- 88, Pleasant Harbour passed away with her loving family by her side September 13, 2020 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. Born in Pleasant Harbour she was a daughter of the late Harry & Alma (Clattenburg) Borgal. Ina was a loving mother to her children, as well as their confidant and friend. When you would see her her chicks were always behind her. Ina also took care of 21 foster children over the years. She loved baking, knitting, dancing and playing 45’s. Survived by children Melvin (Cathy), Viola (Nathaniel) Malay, Doris Martin, Janet (Barry) Gerrard, Alice (Charlie) Hilchie, Rickey (Diane), Danny (Rose), Stephen, Verlie (Darren), many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and sister Bertha Cameron. Predeceased by husband Cameron, son James, 7 grandchildren, sisters; Vera Stevens, Mabel Henley, Thelma, Alice, Neatha, Iola, brothers; Aubrey, Earl, Melvin, Wallace and William. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday September 17 from 7-9p.m. in D.S. Crowell & Son Funeral Home 22558 Highway 7 Sheet Harbour, masks are required while in the building. Funeral service will be held Friday September 18 at 2p.m. in Holy Trinity Church Rev. Lorraine Otto officiating, masks are also required while in the church.
