It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Howard James Heppner on February 22, 2020 in Grande Prairie, AB at the age of 61 years. Howard was born on July 22, 1958 in Rosthern, SK, the eighth child and fourth son, to parents Isaac and Tena Heppner. He grew up on a farm near Waldheim, SK and attended school there as well.
Howard was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his children; Amanda Heppner (Glaslyn, SK), Chelsie Heppner (Blaine Lake, SK), Ashley Heppner (Glaslyn, SK), Brandon Heppner (Leask, SK) and 12 grandchildren, his siblings; Geraldine (Wilfrid) Gartz, Muriel Hiebert, Delores Eaton, Lionel Heppner, and Norman Heppner. Howard was predeceased by his parents, Isaac and Tena Heppner, brother Leland Heppner, sister Evangeline Heppner, and brother-in-law Jake Hiebert.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Cherished Memories in Martensville, Sk.

  1. Oh my!! I am shocked!! So sorry to hear of Howard’s passing!! I have been connecting on Facebook with him. He is my twin. Sending my sincere condolences to his family.
    One thing I remember about Howard when we were growing up is how fast he could run!!!
