Howard Ernest Reed born September 7, 1946 in Hudson Bay, SK, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2020 surrounded by loving family at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. Predeceased by father, Ernest Howard Reed and mother, Mabel Dahl, sister, Bernice Swanson and granddaughter Reed Hayward. Survived by wife, Violet Reed and children, Steven Ernest Joseph Reed, Vanessa Reed and Celina Boonstra, grandchildren, Shayla Goretski and Brandon Boonstra. Howard worked most of his life in cement construction mastering his craft armed with his analytical mind and amazing humor forging lifelong friendships along the way. A keen critical mind, forgiving nature and always lending a helping hand are attributes associated with Howard. Howard affected anyone who he met; causing a smile, providing an ear to listen, advice to guide and a hand to help build. He will be sorely missed. As per Howards request and due to COVID no service will be performed at this time. Donations if desired can be sent to Canadian Cancer Agency and well wishes and cards can be sent to Unit #11, 3380 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford, BC V2S 7G1.
