Leaving to mourn his beloved wife of 51 years, Janet (nee Harris); sons Seamus (Stelios Doussis) and Danny (Leah Smith); daughter Raili Flynn (Matt); and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael and Billy Flynn, and Daniel O’Regan. Seamus was born in St. John’s and proudly attended Holy Cross School. He continued his education at Memorial University and Dalhousie Law School, class of 1968 . He was called to the Bar of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1968. He was appointed to the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1984 retiring in 2017. Seamus spent many years on the bench in Happy Valley-Goose Bay and came to love the Big Land.

  1. God looked around his garden and found an empty place, He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.

He saw your path was difficult and he closed your weary eyes, He whispered to you “Peace be Thine” and gave you wings to fly.

It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.

Rest In Peace Seamus . My Deepest Sympathy to family
