Hilda’s Obituary
Thomas, Hilda Rose- Churchover/ Roseway Manor, passed away on September 21, 2020 in her 105th year. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Victor, children, Richard and Marion. She is survived by numerous grandchildren and cousins across Canada and Great Britain. They settled and enjoyed their retirement years in Churchover, having emigrated to Canada from Britain and subsequently to Nova Scotia. Hilda was a major supporter and volunteer at “ Little Peoples Place” daycare center in Shelburne. A woman that was raised to respect her actions and those of others, gave countless hours to the need of others. Through her volunteer work she touched many lives in her own special way. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Homes & Crematorium Limited. As per her directions, there will be no flowers, service or visitation. The family thanks all her friends and extended family from daycare/church/neighbours and Manor staff for their care and friendship over the past years as we respect her decision.
