Higginson, Gerald John ‘Gerry’
Gerry Higginson of Meaford passed away at Grey Bruce Health Services in Meaford on Thursday, November 5, 2020 in his 95th year. He is now safely home in the arms of his Saviour.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret (nee Ruddock), his twin brother Gordon Higginson and sister-in-law Eileen (nee Sewell).
Gerry was the loving father of Beth Robinson (Paul) of Oshawa and Mark Higginson (Sherree) of Meaford. Gerry will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Rebekah, Meaghan, Averil, Tarynn, Kenzie, Brogan, and great grandchildren Merrin, Gabriel, Seth, Hunter, Ryker, Madelyn, Lochlan, Aidan, Quinn, Broghan, Greyson, Lochlyn and Atlas.
Gerry was retired from the Meaford PUC Water Department and McDonnell Douglas aircraft. His hobbies included forestry, nature, woodworking and baking.
Due to Covid-19, a private family graveside service will be conducted at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
