Hermann Sparn January 10 1942 March 5 2020

It is with great sadness the family of Hermann Sparn announces his passing on March 5th, 2020 at the age of 78. He passed peacefully with his wife of 50 years Neyda holding his hand. Along with Neyda he is survived by his sons Mark (Tracy Harder) and Richard (Thuy), and Grandsons Andy Henry and Stanley. Born January 10, 1942 in Friedrichshafen Germany, Hermann immigrated to Canada in 1969 and found his way to the west coast and the city of Vancouver where he met his wife Neyda. Hermann, a tool and die tradesman was a hardworking and generous husband and father, always improving the quality of life for his family in many ways and raising his sons to be independent and self-reliant men. His love of mother nature and photography brought him to walk many hiking trails, ascend many mountain tops, and witness many perfect sunrises and sunsets all over the world. The wonderful memories shared on these adventures with family and friends will live on with us forever. Funeral Mass for Hermann will be celebrated 11 am, on Tuesday, March 17th, at the Good Shepherd Church, 2250 – 150 Street, Surrey. Memorial donations in memory of Hermann may be made to the Parkinson Society British Columbia | 600-890 West Pender Street | Vancouver, BC V6C 1J9
