Herman Bremner
Herman Bremner, resident of the La Glace area, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 85 years.
Herman was born on December 11, 1934, in Domremy, SK. In 1959, he married Audrey McNabb, and they left Prince Albert, SK, in 1964 for Calgary, and stayed there until 1974, when they then moved the family to Fort St. John, BC. In their retirement, they moved to the La Glace area. He always enjoyed having his family close at hand.
He will be missed by his four children: Kathy (Dan) Fleet, Michelle (Merv) Markling, Norine (Bob) Schwalm, and Jason (Roberta) Bremner; thirteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Priscilla (Ron) Fouquette, Evelyn Ziebart, Marie Bremner, Brian (Denice) Bremner, and Karen (Allan) Solomany.
Herman was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Audrey Bremner; his parents Remi and Lillian Bremner; brother Roland Bremner; and his mother and father in-law Adam and Alexina McNabb.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta (#144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 5G8).
