BENT, Herb… Passed away peacefully on November 28, 2020 at Hastings Manor Nursing Home in Belleville in his 95th year. Herbert Newton Bent was born on May 12th, 1924 in River Hebert, Nova Scotia, son of the late John & Muriel Bent. Herb was the last of his generation with 3 older brothers and 3 younger sisters, all of whom have predeceased him.
His first love was always his beloved wife, June (nee Gordon). They were to celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary in October but June passed in July….
