Worked at CN, Oil Rigs in Lloydmister, Carpenter Formen in Patuanak, Maintenance for Gov’t buildings in Buffalo Narrows, Security in Buffalo Narrows.
Met Flora in North Battleford while she was taking CNA (Canadian Nurses Assistance), they met at a Halloween party that dad was not invited to attend.
Henry married Flora April 7 1958 in Ile-a-La-Crosse, they were married 62 years. They lived in Sandwith, North Battleford, Loydminster, Patuank, Buffalo Narrows and Beauval.
They loved visiting family and friends, travelled all over the country side to visit people. They were a part of Couples for Christ, Cursillos, Marriage Encounter, being involved with the Catholic Church took them across Canada meeting lots of wonderful people.
Henry is survived by his wife Flora; Children – Danny, Arleen, Marvin and Barbara; 14 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren; Siblings – Ed, Carl, Minnie and Roy.
Henry is preceded in death by his son Travis, daughter Elizabeth; granddaughter Chelsea; parents, Bill and Marie, Brothers (Bill, Art, Chris) Sisters (Margaret, Edith)
Henry taught his children to get an education and work hard for what you want, each of them have worked at their same perspective organizations for several years.
Henry loved living in the north, one might say one with nature, he fed his squirrels, birds and even a weasel that would come by to steal food, Henry would get mad at him, but would still feed.
