Henry Joseph Melanson

MELANSON, Henry – Age 90, of Saulnierville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 14th, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Saulnierville, he was a son of the late Adolphe and Elizabeth “Lizzie” (LeBlanc) Melanson. Henry enjoyed logging in his later years and was an avid card player. He also enjoyed socializing with friends at Tim’s. He is survived by his children, Jeanne (Lewis) Theriault, Judith Melanson, Margaret Ann Melanson (Uno), Mark, and Wayne (Tracy); siblings, Louise Comeau, Blanche Comeau, Theodore Melanson, Lydia Saulnier, Antoinette Theriault; grandchildren, Krista, Brody, Nathan, Wyatt, Gabriella; great-grandchildren, Lamar, Shanay. He was predeceased by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Joanne; brothers, Alphonse and Elie; sister, Philomene. Arrangements are under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to the present Covid-19 pandemic, private visitations and burial will take place. Donations may be made to Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association.
