Memorial Donation
Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in Gander, with family by his side. He is now reunited with the love of his life, Beattie. Also predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Hettie Granter.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, sons Larry (Theresa) Granter, Gambo, NL and Rick (Beverly) Granter, Oshawa, ON. Daughters, Laura Broderick (Boyd Holloway), Gambo, NL and Loretta Lyda, Gambo, NL; grandchildren Perry (Angie) Granter, Natasha (Nathan) Philp, Tammy (Chris) Kerr, Tanya (Thomas) Kerr, Michael (Charissa) Lyda, Jennifer (Donald) Barker, Aaron Lyda (Courtney Gill), Myles Broderick (Melissa McDonald) and Zachary Broderick; 9 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces and nephews. Brothers: Nelson (Ena), Charlie (Elizabeth) and Ivan (Lorraine) and sisters Violet Feltham and Linda (John) Green – all of Gambo NL.
Due to COVID-19 regulations, visitation and service will be limited with visitation being for family on Friday from 7:30pm to 9:30pm and for family and friends on Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday at 3:00pm by invitation only at Salvation Army Citadel, Gambo.
