Obituary for Helen Lois Curnow
After a life well lived, Helen passed peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, February 20th in her 94th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Eric for 65 years. Loving Mother of John (Mary) and Susan (Doug Jennett). Helen was born in Ottawa to Adah and Herman Tolle on April 22nd 1926, the day after Queen Elizabeth was born. Predeceased by her twin brother Harold and her oldest sister Dorothy. Survived by four siblings, Eileen, Gerry (Patti), Beverly and Kenny. Grandmother to Katie, Sarah, Elizabeth and Megan and Deanna and Patricia.Great-Grandmother to Lily and Luca. A private family funeral will take place. A Celebration of Life will take place in Ottawa, more information to follow.
