Helena passed away peacefully at home after a short illness. Born in Trosciance, she fled the war front with her mother Olga (deceased) and sister Krystyna to settle in Kedzierzyn. She moved to Canada with her children to join her mother and sister in 1979. She will be dearly missed by her sister Krystyna, her children; Iwona (Gienek), Leslaw and Krystyna, her nephew Stanley, her grandchildren; Michal, Dylan, Julia and Grace and her sweet great grandson Isaac. In her life, Helena brightened many people’s lives with her love, kindness and sharing of her amazing cooking. Many thanks to ICU and A5 staff at the Civic Hospital for their care and compassion.
