1925-2020
BASS RIVER,
NB – It is with heavy hearts the family announces the
passing of our mother, Helen Jean Warman, 95, widow of Arnold Warman
(2014) at her home on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
The last
surviving member of her immediate family, Helen was born in Bass River
on March 17, 1925 to Hugh and Edith (Patton)
Campbell.
In her early
years, Helen taught school in Emmerson, Brown’s Yard and
Bass River. She loved to quilt, knit and crochet, do crafts,
garden and was a great cook.
She was
a member of St. Stephen’s United Church and former secretary
of St. Stephen’s Ladies Aid.
Helen will
be sadly missed by her two daughters, Elaine Ward (Lorne) of Moncton,
Donna Brown (Vaughan) of Bass River; two sons, Brian Harlan Warman
(Mary-Lou) of Bass River, Kenny Warman (Yvette) of Bass River; her
cherished fourteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, and five
great great grandchildren.
She is also
survived by her sister-in-law, Rhea Fearon; brother-in-law, Vincent
Warman (Helen) and much loved nieces and nephews.
Besides her
parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters, Dorothy
Johnson (Albert), Betty Carter, Beatrice Little (Murray); brother,
Hugh Campbell (Stella); sister-in-law, Jennie Ward (Lorne) and
brother-in-law, Allan Warman (Phyllis).
There will
be no visitation at the funeral home. A Graveside service will be
held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St. Stephen’s
United Cemetery in Molus River.
The family
would like to thank Dr. Melanie Arsenault, Dr. Sylvie LeBlanc and the
Extra Mural nurses for their years of excellent care of our
Mother. A special thank you also to Helen’s
“Angels” – Cathy, Charlene, Colleen, Pam, Vanessa,
Donna F., Tania, Kayla, Nathalie, Debbie, Dawn, Sharon, Gloria
(Pinkie), Carmel, Sandra and Nancy who looked after her so she could
stay in her home and who were so good to her.
You all
had a special place in her heart.
Donations in
Helen’s memory may be made to St. Stephen’s United
Church or Cemetery fund or charity of the donor’s
choice.
Arrangements
are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto
(523-4252).
