Obituary for
Helen Veronica Halldorson
It is with great sadness that we announce her peaceful passing on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the age of 57. Loving daughter of Marjorie Halldorson and the late Vilhjalmur “Bill” Halldorson. Dear sister of Cheryl Davey (Wayne) and Ramona Halldorson. Aunt of Cynthia Davey, Vilhjalmur “Billy” Halldorson, great-aunt of Dawn Sager and Amber Davey, and great-great aunt of little Chase. Helen was active throughout her life and had many adventures and achievements. Helen was always friendly and welcoming to everyone she met, those she lived with and the staff who worked with her ~ people just couldn’t help but love her. Throughout her adult life Helen resided in assisted living residences, many years at the Manitoulin Island Hope Farm, in 2013 moved to ICAN in Sudbury, and in 2018 she moved to Pioneer Manor. Our family thanks the staff at Pioneer Manor for making these last few years of Helen’s life so enjoyable, and all the PSW’s, Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and Resident Assistants who helped Helen throughout her life. We will miss her deeply and smile now and again remembering her own “see you later alligator ~ in awhile crocodile” winks and nudges. As per the family’s request there will be no visitation or service. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
