Helen ‘Jean’ Hean December 25 1937 December 30 2019

HEAN: Helen “Jean” Hean (née Hammond), beloved wife of Tom Hean, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, December 30, 2019 at the age of 82 years.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Tom; children: Deb and Greg Temple; Pam Jason; Susan Dunn and Bruce Jaffray; six grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. Also left to mourn her loss are two sisters and many long-time friends.
Jean was born on the family farm near Boissevain, Manitoba on December 25, 1937. After high school Jean moved to Brandon to take her nurses training at the BGH School of Nursing. After graduating, Jean was employed at both Assiniboine Hospital locations, where she worked as a registered nurse for 42 years. Upon retiring from nursing, Jean devoted her time to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mom’s family would like to thank Dr. Davis and the staff at Fairview Personal Care Home for the care and kindness she received during her stay.
In honouring Mom’s wishes, a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
