ELDER, Helen Gwendolyn – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Helen Elder on Sunday, May 10th, 2020, in her 97th year at the Belleville General Hospital. Predeceased by parents Harry and Hazel Orr. Predeceased by loving husband Gordon Elder. Mother of the late Blair Elder. Grandmother to Stacey McDonald, and Gwen O’Toole (Eddie). Great grandmother to Abigail, Lindsay, Ryan, Emily, Aiden, and Tyler. Future great great grandmother to Blair Poppy. In keep with Helen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). A private family graveside will take place in Stockdale Cemetery at a later time. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
