Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Helen Forrester (McCollom) Craft, loving wife of Bill Craft announces her peaceful passing which occurred on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at the Turnbull Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, NB on May 14, 1937 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Ring) McCollom. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her step mother Connie (Clarke) McCollom.
In addition to her loving and devoted husband of 60 years less a month, Bill, she is survived by her cherished children Ken Craft (Katherine Biggs-Craft) and Linda Pitman (Rob); grandchildren David Craft, Andrew Craft, Christie Anne Pitman and Matthew Pitman; special cousin Gail Russell; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Helen was an active member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church, North End and sang in the choir for over 30 years. Helen was a member of the River Valley Seniors Club. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
Her funeral service will be held from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Main Street, North, on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10 a.m. The family will receive family and friends from 9 a.m. until service time. For those who wish to sing, masks are required. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Old Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Helen may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church, IWK or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
