Heather Lillian Tinkoff 2020

Heather Lillian Tinkoff
We are sad to announce Heather’s peaceful passing on Friday, October 9, 2020, one week past her eighty-sixth birthday, at the Jewish Hospital of Hope Eldercare, where she spent the last few years declining from Alzheimer’s Disease. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Susan and Jeffrey Bercovitch, Ellen Drazner of Toronto, and Nancy and the late Leon Zionts of Pittsburgh, PA. Devoted grandmother of Stephanie and Jessica Bercovitch (Brad Webber) of Montreal, Allison Zionts (James Curtis) of London, and Danielle Zionts of Pittsburgh and great-grandmother of Millie Max Webber. Special aunt of David (Eleonore Goulet), Sylvia (Don Kossman), and Meir (Robin Livingston) Rotfleisch. She will be sadly missed by her family, many cousins, and dear lifelong friends, especially Eunice “Dollie” Mayers. She is predeceased by her parents, Veda (Averson) and Lazarus Tinkoff, and her dear brother David. Heather was an avid reader and baker, who loved to travel the world with her late husband Todd Prout. She was best known for her lovely personal notes written in the tiniest of handwriting and her many charitable acts of kindness. Due to COVID restrictions, a private graveside funeral service will be held. Donations in Heather’s memory may be made to Gloria’s Girls c/o The Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Heather Lillian Tinkoff 2020..
