Obituary
Heather Doreen Boulette
Sadly, on Thursday December 3rd, 2020, Heather Doreen Boulette, (spirit name) Standing Buffalo Woman, passed away at Selkirk Regional Health Centre at 54 years of age.
She leaves behind her pride and joy, her daughter Unique, whom she loved beyond measure. Her brother Barry Boulette Jr. (Mary); nephew Bryar; grandson she called lil man that she loved very much. She also leaves to mourn many close cousins, Neil, Dianna, to mention a few; aunts and uncle; best friend Sharon whom she considered a sister; Barb who she thought of as a daughter and her son Dreighton that called her Grammie.
She was predeceased by her grandparents Joseph and Pauline Guimond of Sagkeeng. Hilda and Swamper Boulette of Manigotogan; mother and father, Emily Boulette (2016) and Barry Boulette Sr. (2011) of Selkirk.
Heather was born in Red Lake, Ontario in 1966 and lived there until she moved to Selkirk, Manitoba in 1993. She had many close friends throughout her life and cherished all of them. Heather had a big heart and loved family immensely. She had a very large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, 1st 2nd and 3rd and knew them all. It was amazing at how much she knew about everyone in the family. Her sense of humour was one of her greatest gifts. She loved to laugh and tease and was so much fun to be around. You were sure to laugh and smile when you were around her.
Thank you to Dr. Demsas for all the care that was given to Heather over the years. Thank you to the wonderful and caring nursing staff at Selkirk Regional Health Centre, especially Jodie and Kelly.
A small invite only service because of Covid will be held at Gilbart Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2020 with interment at a later date in the Manigotogan Cemetery.

We can all take solace knowing that Heather has been reunited with her parents, her son Alexander, her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousin Wayne. She loved everyone of them. She is again with family the way she loved to be in life.
