Harvey Maxwell Welsh
March 18, 1934 – June 3, 2020
Passed away, ever so peacefully, by the side of his loving and devoted wife at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, Harvey Maxwell Welsh, aged 86 years.
Predeceased by parents, Absalom and Jane Welsh; sisters, Rose (William) Bishop, Lillian (Donald) Harnum, and Edna (Elias) Jerrett; brothers, Sterling Welsh and Winston Welsh.
Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with precious memories are his wife of 56 years, Lorraine; daughters, Rosalind (Dave), Kathy (Andre), Lisa (Mike), and Christine (Todd); grandchildren, Jasmine (Terrance), Jessica (Bradley), Jenna (Kyle), Devon, Brandon (Chase), and Abigail; sisters, Elva (Melvin) Temple; brother, Ellis (Rona); sisters-in-law, Orpha Welsh, Joan Welsh, and Doreen Higdon; brothers-in-law, Ron (Myrt) Harnum, Lloyd (Joy) Harnum, and Walter (Linda) Harnum; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
As per Harvey’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private family service will be held with inurnment to follow at St. George the Martyr Anglican Cemetery, Whiteway.
