Obituary of Harry Fanjoy
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Harry Oscar Fanjoy, at the age of 91, which occurred peacefully on Monday, July 6, 2020 at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sus. He was born on May 22, 1929 in Waterford, NB, husband of the late Verda (Mitton) Fanjoy and a son of the late James and Eva (Carr) Fanjoy.
Harry is survived by his daughters: Sandra Dunn and her husband Greg of Mechanic Settlement, Cheryl Parlee and her husband David of Waterford; his son, Bradley Fanjoy and his wife Karen of Walker Settlement; his brothers: Carl Fanjoy and his wife Joyce of Millbrook and Ralph Fanjoy of Sus Corner; his grandchildren: Kim, Derrick, Krista, Kathryn, Justin, Sarah, Jonah, Daynah, Jaydah and Ben; his great grandchildren: Kayla, Jennica, Kacey, Cory, Nathan, Reece, Alyssa, Noah and Waylon; his great-great grandchildren, Callie and Gracelyn; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and wife, he is also predeceased by his sister, Eileen Hawkes; his brother, Emerson Fanjoy; and by his great grandson, Lincoln Keith.
We would like to thank the staff of Kiwanis Nursing Home for the exceptional care that our dad received during his stay. Also thank you to the wonderful care workers that dad had prior to him moving to Kiwanis.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sus (506-433-1176). Due to COVID-19 the funeral service will be held privately. Interment will take place in Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sus Corner.
