It is with broken hearts
that the family of the late HARRY WARD of Marystown announces his
passing. Harry passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health
Care Center in Burin on Friday, February 28th,
2020 at the age of 59. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of
wonderful memories are his wife Mary of 33 years; son, Daniel Ward;
mother-in-law, Esther Ennis of Marystown; Aunt Carmelita
Ward of Spanish Room and Aunt Bridget Ward of Marystown; cousins;
Deborah Brushett (Bill), Delores Brake (Mike Gervais) who has been by
their side from the beginning of Harry’s battle and for that, Mary
& Daniel will be forever grateful, DeAnne Hawkes (Richard),
Dominic Brake, Joanne Pittman (Greg), Mary Mallay (Fred), Clarence
Brake (Glenda), David Hodder, Harry Hodder (Mhed), Jeffrey Hodder,
Rodney Hodder (Lynn), Mary Hodder, Sheila Stone, Wanda Kelly and
cousin-in-law, Vaneta Hodder; sisters-in-law, Patsy Mayo
(Bill) of Marystown; brothers-in-law, John Ennis (Alberta) of
Marystown, and Paddy Ennis of Marystown; plus a large circle of
extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Harry was
predeceased by his parents, John and Theresa Ward; father-in-law,
Patrick Ennis; uncles, Joe Ward, Cyril Ward, Dominic (Bridget) Brake,
Patrick Brake, and Dermot Brake; Aunt Edith Hodder (Clarence); cousin,
Dermot Hodder; and brother-in-law, Donald
Ennis.
The Ward Family will be
accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral
Homes in
Creston South on Saturday, February
29th from 10 am to 9pm, Sunday, March
1st from 1pm to 9pm with a Vigil at
6:30 pm and Monday, March 2nd from 10
am to 12 noon. Mass of Christian Burial will take
place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Marystown on Monday,
March 2nd at 2
pm.
Interment to follow at
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Marystown.
In
