Obituary of Harold Madill
Peacefully, with the love of his family, on Saturday, June 6th, 2020, at Chapman House, Owen Sound. Harold Robert Madill, of Owen Sound, at the age of 91 years. Dear Husband of Bernice Madill (nee Semple), for 61 Years. Loved father of, Connie Buckton (Bob), of Meaford, Rhonda Fyvie (Kelly Weatherall), of Owen Sound, Bev Madill, of Brantford, and the late Christopher Madill. Proud grandfather of Tim Buckton (Liz), Ryan Buckton (Emily), Will Madill, Angela Lehtinen (Steve), Leah DiRenzo (Jamie), Alycia Young (Jessie) and great-grandfather of Olivia Buckton, Alex Lehtinen, Gavin DiRenzo and Easton DiRenzon. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Gladys Madill and his brother Eldon. Harold had a great fondness for antique tractors and would travel great distances to get just the right part for a proper restoration.
A private funeral service will be held at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00p.m., Rev. Kristal McGee officiating. Friends and family not in attendance may watch live at www.facebook.com/WoodBrianEFuneralHome/. Burial at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
