Obituary of Harold Barker
Harold Barker,
Peacefully at University Hospital on Monday, June 8, 2020 Harold Barker of London in his 84th year. Loving husband of 60 years to Leone Ada Barker (nee Elliott). Best dad ever to Debbie Barker of Toronto and Cathy Lynch of London. Adored by grandkids Madison Barker and Andrew and Amanda Lynch. He truly cared for his brothers Ed (deceased) and Doug (Lynne), and all of their families. Harold was born in Goderich and worked as a pharmacist in London at Towers, EMA, and Rexall. He enjoyed organizing information, investing in the stock market, doing income taxes, teaching card games at Longworth Retirement Home, going on vacations, and watching war movies. He even learned to fly!
Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Road, South, Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Friday, June 12, 2020 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. As per the law, the maximum number of people who can be in the funeral home at one time is 10 or fewer and friends must remain in their vehicles until it is their turn to come in. Please don’t have this deter you from coming as the wait won’t be long. Cremation has taken place.
