Murray, Harold Douglas “Beach Ball” 82,
Debert, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Debert Court, Debert.
Born in Masstown, he was the son of the late John and Flora (Dykeman)
Murray. Beach Ball was an owner/operator truck driver for many years
driving for Maritime Ontario from 1959 – 1978 and later with
Armour Transport from 1978 – 2001. He loved to play darts,
play crib and was an avid nascar fan, and enjoyed hunting and spending
time in the woods. He was a one of a kind and was also a social
butterfly.
He is survived by daughters, Heather O’Brien
(Teddy), Debert, Holly Sullivan (Roy), Debert; sons, David (Flo),
Canso, John (Amy), Debert; grandchildren, Andrew, Beth, Katie, Darcy,
Samantha, Molly, Megan, Michaella, Ali, David, Madison, John-Ryley; 12
great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Kinnear (Patrick),
Charlottetown.
He was predeceased by grandchildren, Erin and Jessie;
brother, Robert; sister, Marjorie; son-in-law, Dean.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, Jan.
30th from 1-4 pm in the Royal Canadian Legion,
Branch 106 Debert. Burial will take place at a later date. Donations
in memory may be made to Diabetes Canada. A special thanks to the
staff of Debert Court for your kindness, care and support given to
