The family would like to thank the amazing nurses and staff
at Ivey’s Terrace Nursing home, and for the extra time they spent with
Dad while family was restricted from visiting due to the COVID-19
virus outbreak. For that we are immensely
grateful. We would also like to thank Dr. Chris
Elliott, all of the medical professionals and staff in Pictou County
and the Oncology professionals and staff in Halifax for the wonderful
care given to our father during his decline.
At his request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have
been entrusted to R.H. Porter Funeral Home and a celebration of his
life and burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
