Hardeo Beharry
1950-2020
BEHARRY, Hardeo
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Hardeo
(Var) Beharry on Friday, December 18, 2020 in his 70th year at the
Village of Riverside Glen. Beloved husband of Phyllis
(Agnes); and dear father to son Brian and daughter Rabina, both of
Guelph. Loving brother of Robbie, Gowri, Durga (Tucker),
Parmanand (Bud), Carmin, and Nalo. Predeceased by parents
Bharrat and Piari and eldest brother Charrandeo (Milton) of Guyana,
South America. He will be dearly missed by family and
friends from Canada, the United States, and Guyana.
Hardeo was born and raised in Port Mourant, Guyana.
He moved to Guelph, Ontario, Canada in 1973. He proudly
worked as a maintenance millwright for over 20 years at Guelph
Products. He enjoyed time with his family, weekends at the
cottage, and the company of his parrots, Buddy, Polly and Green
Boy.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and
private support workers at the Village of Riverside Glen for all the
warmth and care he has received these last few years.
Due to covid restrictions, a private service will be held by
invitation only. If you wish to donate in his name, a
donation to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly
appreciated.
