Halden Lowe
1949-2019
Lowe, Halden B-70 of Wileville, passed away December 31, 2019
at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a battle with
cancer. He was the son of the late Clarence and Marguerite
“Jean” (Guest) Lowe. Halden retired in March 2011 from
Pepsi-Co Beverages Canada where he was a valued Service Technician for
over 36 years. His passions in life were fishing, hunting, canoeing,
and he spent many hours with his children teaching them the value of
the outdoors. He was a kind, quiet, gentle man who loved his family
dearly. The biggest joy in his life was his grandchildren whom he
loved spending time with as they grew from babies to adults. He was so
proud of you all. Halden is survived by his wife of 39 years, Nancy
Bonang; sons Marc (Tina), Scott (Shawna); daughter Donna (Brock);
grandchildren Megan, Brandon (Alisha), Morgan (Soy), Anthony, Emily,
Aiden, Anna; great-grandchildren Keira, Noah and Braelyn; brothers
Willie (Rosemary); sisters Peggy (Hilbert), Eleanor, as well as many
nieces and nephews. There is a saying that says it all about this
wonderful husband, father, uncle, friend, “A Dad isn’t
defined as the man who makes the child, but rather the man who raises
and loves the child with all his heart, being a Dad comes from the
heart.” In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to
South Shore Area Palliative Care Services, South Shore Regional
Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Memorial Service 1:00pm
Tuesday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Interment will be held

The family would like to thank all the staff of south Shore
Regional Hospital 4th floor Medical Unit for
the wonderful care and compassion shown to Halden during his time
there as well as Noeleen Reily and Dr. Gowan of South Shore Palliative
Care. They were a true blessing and support, a valuable service during
the last five months of Halden’s life while at home.
