It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Guy St-Amour of Fournier, Ontario. Guy died peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at the dawn of his 69th birthday, with his beloved spouse Josée Gauthier and his precious cousin Danielle Leduc Wagner by his side. Dear son of the late Henri St-Amour and the late Aline Desjardins. Survived by his sister and brothers: Denyse (Claude Carrière), Jean (Michèle Leblanc), André (Diane Shane), Claude (Hélène Chénier), François (Sylvie Duval) and Michel (Suzanne Desmarais), many nieces, nephews and his aunt Marcelle Desjardins Lalonde. Predeceased by his brother Raymond. He will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Éliane Gauthier, his sisters-in-law Murielle (Michel Choquette) and Francine (Jean-Luc Nadeau), his brother-in-law Bertrand (Johanne Gagnon) and numerous friends.
Due to the current circumstances, a Private Family Funeral Service was held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at St. Bernard Church, Fournier. Interment Parish Cemetery.
Special thanks to the staff of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital and the Ottawa General Hospital Intensive Care Unit for the compassionate care provided to Guy.
