Guy Darin Potvin
Guy Darin Potvin, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, at the age of 50 years.
Darin was born on June 19, 1969 in Prince George, BC, and moved to Alberta with his parents and little sister when he was seven. He attended GPRC and finished his education in Denver, Colorado at ESI where he became an Executive Bodyguard. After travelling around the USA as a bodyguard, he came back to Canada and started a security company with his children’s mother, Jocelyn St. Onge.
Darin enjoyed astronomy and looking through his telescope at the night sky. He always informed family when there was a meteor shower. He also loved playing cards and dice, and was always up for a game.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter Chantelle Potvin, son Preston Potvin, parents Guy and Mayva Potvin, sister Adrienne Potvin (Jason Howrish), brother Dean (Carrie) Potvin, as well as a niece, nephews, and other family and friends.
Darin was predeceased by his daughter Kaylie Kephart.
A Graveside Service will be held at Grande Prairie Cemetery.
