It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gus Walsh, age 96, on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at the Northside General Hospital. Born on Sable Island on June 30, 1923, he was the son of the late Michael and Catherine (Dwyer) Walsh. Gus was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Gus is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Vivian (Collier) Walsh, and by his sons Gerald (Maria), and Kevin, and his daughter-in-law Karen Aucoin. He also leaves behind his grandsons Jason, Trevor and Devin, and great-granddaughters Kacey, Carlie and Alexis.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter Geraldine, sons Donnie and Bobby, sisters Geraldine and Danelda, brothers Tommy, Mike and Joe.
