Gregory William McCauley, of Pembroke Ontario died peacefully on May 16, 2020 at the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 69 years.
Dear son of the late Gordon and Norma McCauley. Loving husband to Victoria McCauley and by first marriage the late Pam McCauley (nee Clouthier). Greg is loved and sadly missed by his daughters Jennifer McCauley, Candace McCauley, Meegan Reilly (Todd), Valerie Hyska (Steve) and Caren Burd. Lovingly adored by his nine grandchildren Amanda, Deanna, Katie, Jordan, Dustin, Jake, Zachary, Bradley and Jory. Greg will be missed by his many brothers and sisters,many nieces and nephews and his many friends.
Greg was well known for his boisterous support of the Montreal Canadians. He left a mark on many young lives as a hockey coach in Petawawa. Greg was affectionately known for his gift of gab to anyone and everyone he crossed paths with.
He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and kindness. The love for his family and friends knew no bounds.
Due to the constraints of Covid-19 regulations a private Family Service and Interment took place at St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke on Tuesday May 19. A Celebration of Greg’s Life will take place when permissible and will be announced. In memory of Greg donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation or the Renfrew County SPCA would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Pembroke.
