Gregory Kim Leslie Greg MacDonald 19672020

Gregory Kim Leslie “Greg” MacDonald
1967-2020
Gregory Kim Leslie “Greg”
MacDonald – 52, North River, passed away suddenly
on Sunday, June 21, 2020, at home, as a result of heart disease.
Although Greg’s passing was sudden and without warning, we
take great comfort in knowing that he was welcomed home by his Lord
and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Born in Springhill, he was a son of Rodney
“Rod” and Esther (Rushton) MacDonald,
Onslow.
Greg was a faithful and devoted member of Connections Church,
Truro and worked for over 30 years in the auto service industry, most
recently at Stuart Kia as their Service Manager. He was a gifted
athlete and could play any sport he wanted to and coach you to improve
your skills at it as well. He was a loyal fan and supporter of Toronto
Maple Leafs and we hope that he can now help them out from above. He
enjoyed time spent at the camp, visiting with his Mom and Dad,
hunting, fishing and anything outdoors; he was well known for his
favourite footwear being his beloved crocs. He lived life to the
fullest and revelled in being a true jokester, always smiling and
laughing.
Family, faith and friends are three words that can epitomize
Greg; he loved his family unconditionally and prayed for them daily,
he loved his Lord without hesitation and he loved his friends
dearly.
Along with his parents, Greg is survived by and will be
missed by his wife, Heather (Thompson); son, Kevin (Jennifer);
daughter, Kara-Lynn; sister, Deborah “Debbie”;
brothers, David (Ann), Randall (Heather), Darrell (Angela); special
cousin, Stephen (Nicole); parents-in-law, Walter and Karen Thompson;
sisters-in-law, Faith (Bob) Reel, Charity (Chris) King;
brothers-in-law, Walter (Tara) Thompson, Jon (Becky) Thompson, Jimmy
(Sally) Nichols; nieces and nephews, Brandon, Cody, Brody, Danica,
Devon, Bobby, Ethan, Clara, Brooke, Addison, Benjamin, Ella; many
special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his
mother-in-law, Clara Jean (Duncan) Thompson.
We would like to send a huge thank you to everyone for their
kindness, love and support during this unimaginable time in our
lives.
