Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Greg LaMarsh announces his sudden passing on November 22, 2020. Greg was very much a family man, devoted husband and father, who wholeheartedly and unconditionally loved us all. Greg was a huge welcoming, warming presence to anyone in his life. One of the million ways he showed his love was checking in with his family daily. If he couldn’t see you that day, he just wanted to hear your voice. His greatest passion besides his family was working on old cars, trucks, boats and other projects with his best friend Tim by his side. His favorite pastime was being anywhere and doing anything with family and friends but especially camped around a fire or cruising on his boat.
Greg started working on the rigs at a very young age and worked with many different companies until he settled with Cactus Drilling in 1981. He started consulting in 1995 where he quickly became well known and well loved in the oilfield industry.
Greg is lovingly remembered by his wife Cherie Trahan LaMarsh; his children Bobbi Kamps (Norm), Nicole LaMarsh, Kyla LaMarsh (Jesse), Steven LaMarsh, Cole Halcro and Alyssa Halcro. He is also survived by his father Kaye LaMarsh (Sandy), his mother Diane Peters (Isaac) as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and other extended family as well as a multitude of friends – all of whom he loved dearly.
Memorial donations in Greg’s name are gratefully accepted to the Aspire Special Needs Charity.
