Graham Allan Craig passed peacefully on September 4, 2020 in his 90th year. Graham will be greatly missed by his wife Grace, children David Craig (Carol) of Creighton, Carla Craig of the The Pas, Jane Coates (Dean) of Cobourg ON, grandchildren Graham Craig of Elko, Nevada, Courtney (Ryan) Biberdorf of Creighton, Sarah Coates (Bryce Williams) of Woodstock ON, Deanna Coates of Toronto ON, and great grandchildren Hailey and Hayden Biberdorf, his brother Barry (Joanne) of Winnipeg, a niece and two nephews.
Graham was born in Winnipeg and at 11 months old the family moved to Glasgow, Scotland. Following the war the family was on the first ship to sail out of the Thames for Canada. Graham graduated from the Optometric School in Toronto in 1952. After graduation Graham returned to Winnipeg and married Grace in 1958. The newlyweds relocated to Flin Flon that same year. Graham was a very active member of the community, chairman of the school board, city councillor, and mayor. He was a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge for 60 years and a member of Eastern Star.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Graham may be made to the Flin Flon & Area Community Recycling Program, or The Masonic Foundation of Manitoba
