Obituary of Grace Ann Green
After a lengthy illness and with her husband of 50 years at her bedside. Grace Ann Green, wife of G. William (Bill) Green of Quispamsis, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 10, 2020 at the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Born on November 24, 1943 in Sus Corner, NB, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Annie (Reynolds) Crowe. Grace graduated from Sus High School and was an active member of St. Paul’s United Church in Sus Corner. She was employed with Irving Oil in accounting for 42 years until her retirement in 2010. Grace enjoyed camping with Bill and travelling around the Maritimes with their travel trailer for many years. She was an avid quilter and sewer, she enjoyed cooking and gardening. Grace was a dedicated and hard worker in whatever she chose to do, she will be missed by her family and friends.
Besides her husband, Grace is survived by her two sisters; Linda Pinches of Toronto, ON, and Mary Snider (David) of Upper Loch Lomond, NB, two nieces, one nephew and their children, plus several cousins.
Grace was predeceased by her parents and her brother in law Arthur Pinches.
A Celebration of Grace’s life will be held at Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis (849-2119) on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 12:00 PM. Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to greet and assist you with Covid-19 protocol. Interment to take place at Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Sus Corner, NB. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
