Obituary of Gordon Alan MacNab
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 15, 2020 at Lakeridge Health Centre, Bowmanville at the age of 86. Gord was a kind, gentle and thoughtful man who would help anyone in need. He loved nature and loved being in it; fishing, snowmobiling, hiking and canoeing, often bringing his family along. He will be missed by his children Karen MacNab (Stephen Sawyer), Alan (Jennifer) and Wendy Bourdeau (Daniel), his grandchildren Emily Bongelli (Kyler Visca), Cale Bongelli, Brooke, Amanda and Rachel MacNab, and Liam and Heather Bourdeau, his former spouse Patricia, and brother and sister-in-law Donald and Jane MacNab. Arrangements entrusted to THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, MONK CHAPEL. A private burial will take place at Verulam Cemetery, Bobcaygeon. The family would like to sincerely thank Bowmanville Creek Retirement Residence and Lakeridge Health, Bowmanville for their compassionate care of Gordon. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Soper Creek Wildlife Rescue or Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters.
