The death of Gordon Joseph McEachreon husband of Shirley Thibodeau of Harcourt, NB, occurred on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 68. Born in Miramichi, NB, he was the son of the late Hubert and Margaret (Hay) McEachreon. Gordon worked at the Moncton City Hospital as a Power Engineer.
Besides his wife: Shirley, Gordon is survived by: three sons: Todd Thibodeau (Dwan) of Miramichi, NB; Jason Thibodeau (Monique) of Riverview, NB; Bradley Thibodeau (Brandi) of Miramichi, NB; five sisters: Linda Doyle (Keith) of Moncton, NB; Theresa Savoy (Clarence) of Miramichi, NB; Dorothy McEachreon of Williamstown, NB; Marilyn McEachreon (Sylvio Barrieau) of Miramichi, NB; Susan MacDonald (Graham Fitzgerald) of Cape Breton, NS; one brother: Robert (Sharon) of Miramichi, NB; five grandchildren: Ty, Justin, Madison, Owen and Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Gordon is predeceased by: one brother: William
At Gordon’s request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Nelson-Miramichi, NB on Monday, December 28, 2020 with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.
Please Note: Due to Covid-19 Mandatory Masks and Social Distancing guidelines will be followed for the funeral mass.
In Gordon’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
