Gordon’s Obituary
Surrounded by those he cared for the most, Gordon John England finished his journey at the Brantford General Hospital, on January 17, 2020. He was 69 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Lawrence “Gyp” and Ivy England and brother William “Bill” England (2017). Survived by his sister-in-law Marg England. Proud uncle of Bill Jr. (Susan), Ladysmith B.C. and Karen (Jim) of Brantford. Great-uncle of Henry, Sarah, William and Tommy. Gord enjoyed a special bond with his late uncle and aunts and his many cousins. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends. Gord owned and operated Kenny Insurance Brokers in London for many years. Gord never allowed his disability to hinder him from reaching his goals. His determination and never-quit attitude were always a source of inspiration.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home Ltd. In accordance with Gord’s expressed wishes a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Paris Cemetery. In Gord’s memory, donations to the Stedman Community Hospice (www.sjlc.ca/stedman-community-hospice-1) would be appreciated by the family.
