Gonzague C. Daigle
1932-2020
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Gonzague C. Daigle 88, of
Richibucto passed away peacefully at the Villa Maria in
Saint-Louis-de-Kent on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born in
Pointe-Sapin, he was the son of the late Clement Daigle and late Annie
(Mazerolle) Daigle. Before retiring, Gonzague was employed
as a laborer and woodsman.
Gonzague will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 65 years,
Lionie (Hebert) Daigle of Richibucto; two daughters, Julia Hebert
(John) of Shediac, Arthémise Chevarie of Moncton; four
sons, Ernest Daigle (Cathy) of Aldouane, Ulysee Daigle (Stella) of
Aldouane, André Daigle (Sharon) of Richibucto, Gilbert
Daigle (Valdine) of Richibouctou-Village; twelve grandchildren and
thirteen great grandchildren.
He is also survived by two brothers, Elmore Daigle and
Patrick Daigle both of St. Louis and many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by three sisters,
Jane, Marie-Louise, Albertine and two brothers, Cyriac and
Henry.
There will be no visitation or funeral mass.
Interment will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic
Cemetery in Claire-Fontaine at a later date.
