Glynn Bickford 2020

Glynn Bickford
April 21, 1952 – December 08, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Glynn Morgan Bickford announce his passing at the age of 68 on December 8 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s. Glynn passed peacefully away surrounded by his family after a short illness. The family would like to give a special thank you to the compassionate health care workers at the HSC.
Born and raised on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Glynn grew up with his four sisters and completed his schooling before relocating to Cambridge, Ontario at the age of 22. Glynn and Beverly were married and had their children in Cambridge where Glynn remained for many years until finally returning to Newfoundland in 2013. Glynn and Beverly were reunited and in 2018 remarried in St. John’s; their last years together were blessed with love and family.
Glynn was a loving husband, father, poppy, brother, uncle and friend. A kind, strong and gentle man, he was loved and respected by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Glynn is predeceased by his mother, Emma Morgan, father Harvey Bickford, uncle Arthur Bickford and sister, Janet Squires. Lovingly remembered by his wife; Beverly, daughter; Melanie (Adam), son; Jason (Samantha), grandchildren; Clarke, Ana, Benjamin, and Saraya, sisters; Dale (Wayne), Joan, Michelle (Doug); nieces, nephews and extended family.
A service will be held in his honour on Friday, December 11, at 11:30am from Caul’s Chapel, 84 Lemarchant Road in St. John’s. To view this service as it takes place please visit vimeo.com/event/542735
