Obituary of Glen Elmo Robson
ROBSON, GLEN ELMO
Passed peacefully at home with family by his side on Tuesday, July 21, 2020, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Ulila Robson (née Henshaw) for over 60 years. Treasured Dad of Kim (John) and Kelly. Much loved Grandpa of Danny (Sidonia), Rachel (Chip), Ryan (Carlee), Chesley (Andrew) and Chad (Courtney). Adored Great-Grandpa of Ava, Emily, Scarlett, Spencer and Grayson. Missed greatly by many good friends. Predeceased by his parents Elmo and Leta Robson, of Melrose, and sister Jean Campbell, of Strathroy. Glen worked many years for United Co-op, and upon his retirement, he went on to become a well-respected home builder for over 20 years. Glen and Ulila lived life to the fullest and spent much of their time doing what they loved: boating, fishing, making and performing music, and working on their prized Muskoka cottage. He always had time for a drink and a story with a friend. Above all, Glen loved his family and instilled a sense of togetherness and loyalty among them. “When in trouble call Grandpa!” A special thank you to Dr. Perkin, ParaMed and VON for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Online condolences and donations may be left at wwww.strathroyfuneralhome.com Arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF STRATHROY.
