Glenda Wilkes August 21 2020

Wilkes, Glenda Rosalind (Hebb), 83, of Dartmouth and formerly of Musquodoboit Harbour, passed peacefully on August 21, 2020.
Surviving are her husband, Reg Wilkes; children, Val (Gord) Lewis, Paul, Mark (Cathy), Pete (Trisha), Chris (Jacqueline). She dearly loved her grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley, Erin, Abby, Ben, Bethany, Emma, Sophie and Lydia; and her great-grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew, Dexter and Samantha. She is also survived by brothers, Phillip and Clark Hebb.
She was predeceased by eight siblings.
Glenda loved going for drives, stopping for coffee and visiting every yard sale. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and was always up for a game of cards, scrabble or dominoes. Whatever game she played, she didn’t lose gracefully. Crossword puzzles were also a part of her daily routine.
A service will be held in Regal Heights Baptist Church, Dartmouth, on Tuesday, August 25, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Jason Cole officiating. A reception will follow.
A private family burial will have taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arimathea Funeral Cooperative, Upper Musquodoboit.
